In this issue’s cover story, we present a model of an Alpha Jet that was built using a 3D printer. New, modern technologies are making their way into the model aviation scene. We are grateful for such tools, which are becoming increasingly widespread. At the 20th Homebuilt Model Airplane Meet in Huttwil, traditional model builders still outnumber the others, even though new techniques and materials are being used more and more.
