Over 80 model airplane enthusiasts at Skyguide

Both the Regional Board itself and Skyguide must have been greatly surprised when more than 80 applications were received in response to the call for entries. This is clear proof that model airplane enthusiasts are versatile individuals with an interest in aviation and technology. The two presentations by Verena Baumann and Christian Weiss, as well as the tours of air traffic control and the training center, were very impressive. But the phenomenal highlight was undoubtedly the simulation room. In the afternoon, following lunch, the regional presidents’ conference took place, which, fortunately, was just as well attended.
