Focused Construction at the Sports Complex
To mark its 35th anniversary, the MG-Bussard received a gift certificate from Scamora Modellbau in Wetzikon. For a long time, conditions weren’t right to take on a new project.
New members and the upcoming opening ceremony for the new sports facilities in Eschenbach, SG, in September gave us the idea to build an indoor model. To make scheduling easier, we decided to hold the event on a Saturday. From 9 a.m. until takeoff: focused building with a short break for refreshments outside in the sun in front of the hall. By 5 p.m., we were already
flying began; by 6 p.m., we were flying in the trees outside the hall. When the propeller and all the cables are installed correctly, the Click-21 flies great right away. To wrap things up, one member provided the perfect musical interlude with his accordion.
On behalf of all participants—Claudio, Hans, Raphael, Martin, Martin, Michael, Mani (joining from home), and Ruedi as a helper—a big thank you to Scamora Modellbau Wetzikon and all participants for their perseverance and camaraderie. It’s worth mentioning in passing: To comply with COVID-19 guidelines, we had all taken a rapid test beforehand.
