START AT THE SWISS AIR FORCE CENTER IN DÜBENDORF

We kicked off the year with a real highlight: the 2025 Winter Get-Together. The event at the Swiss Air Force Center was a huge success, with over 30 members in attendance. The venue is just right for us! The fact that we were once again treated to culinary delights by the kitchen crew at the “Flügerstübli” afterward rounded out the evening perfectly.

"Jets over Dübendorf" was a day for the history books. Despite extremely hot temperatures, over 30 pilots registered. They flew their hearts out! A big thank you to all participants and also to the reporters, whose articles in model aviation magazines ensured great visibility for our IG. At the E-Jet meet hosted by the MFG Koblenz-Glattal under the direction of Daniel Gyr, we had to contend with a persistent mix of sun and rain. Hats off to the five pilots who took to the air anyway! A huge thank you to the entire crew of the organizing club for seeing the event through to the end—despite the unstable weather. At the E-Jet meet hosted by MFV Müswangen, the weather unfortunately completely derailed our plans. After days of continuous rain, the grass was flooded in many places. The last-minute cancellation was the only sensible decision to protect the models and equipment. But: Postponed is not canceled! We’re looking forward all the more to the upcoming 2026 season at MFV Müswangen. Even though the weather wasn’t always on our side, the spirit of the IGEJS remains unbroken. I thank you all for your dedication and loyalty. Now we’re looking forward to what we hope will be a sunny and flight-filled 2026 season.
