Athénaz Meet
On September 15 and 16, 2007, GAM Geneva organized its traditional “small and large” model aircraft meet at its field in Athénaz.
The event was a resounding success: 60 registered pilots, a total of 144 flights over the two days, and pilots from various parts of Switzerland as well as all the Geneva-area clubs, such as the Versoix Model Club, the Acro Model Club of Malval, and the Jussy Model Club. The weather was on our side, as it was very, very nice both days. Not a single crash marred the weekend, and all participants returned home with their equipment intact.
May this mini-photo report inspire all aviation enthusiasts to come—even if just to take a quick look—at the airshow taking place on September 20 and 21, 2008.
