NOS and NWE Regional Championships

For the third time, MG-Uster organized the F3A Newcomer and Promotion Regional Championship at its facility in Nänikon.

Amid glorious weather and excellent organization, an impressive field of 18 pilots gathered to crown the regional champion. Flying took place in two categories—Newcomer and Promotion. The level of flying was very high in both categories. All participants used electric powerplants. Among the models, there were a few biplanes here and there. It was also great that a few colleagues from Ticino and the Canton of Bern made the long

trip to Nänikon. It seems to be paying off to open such competitions to other regions as well. This creates a good mix and fosters interesting connections among the pilots. Thanks to the excellent organization by MG Uster, the competition ran like clockwork. Our thanks also go to the judges and all the volunteers.
