A SPECTACULAR F3A WORLD CUP IN THE PRINCIPALITY OF LIECHTENSTEIN

On behalf of the FAI jury, I would like to thank the Principality of Liechtenstein Model Flying Club for the flawless organization of the 58th International FAI F3A World Cup.

Hosting this major event 58 times is truly remarkable and unique. This deserves special recognition: Until just a few years ago, the Liechtenstein F3A team was the gold standard not only in Europe but worldwide. The Matt family deserves special mention in this regard. I would like to highlight Honorary President Günther Matt in particular. The fact that they all—following their great sporting successes—take on the annual burden of organizing a major F3A event is unparalleled and magnificent. The dedication of the club members is exemplary, and the difficult work of the judges is beyond reproach. Club President Daniel Schirscher professionally oversaw the entire event over the two days. Competition Director Nick Schädler, with IT specialist Dominik Gächter in the background, timed the proceedings down to the second with the precision of a Swiss watch. The new 2027 F3A aerobatic programs have been implemented remarkably well.

I would like to take this opportunity to say goodbye as a member of the jury for the F3A World Cup in Liechtenstein. I thank you for your hospitality and trust, and I wish you many more wonderful competitions in Liechtenstein. ■
