On Lake Heidsee
On the weekend of June 22–23, the seaplane event took place for the second time on Lake Heidsee in Lenzerheide,
which was once again organized by the organizing committee of H. Peyer and D. Dietziker under the patronage of MG Buttikon.
After a rainy start on Saturday morning, the pilots enjoyed nearly
nearly perfect flying conditions. Of the twenty-eight pilots in attendance, six had traveled from Germany.
Numerous flights against a stunning backdrop, facilities that left nothing to be desired, and the lunchtime barbecue featuring local specialties all contributed to the success of this now very popular event. Our thanks go to all the pilots and volunteers who, through their efforts both on and off the field, helped make this event a success. We’re already looking forward to the next seaplane event—“See you there!”
