Ueli von Niederhäusern Replaces Ruedi Steinle as the New MFS Editor

I was born in Riggisberg and am a co-founder of the Riggisberg Model Flying Club. I’ve served on the board as secretary since the club’s founding—that is, for 40 years. I’ve been an avid model flyer since childhood. I witnessed the early days of model helicopter flying—back when we flew without pitch control, relying solely on RPM… For 20 years, I competed in helicopter competitions all over the world. After many years, Ruedi Steinle has handed over his duties as MFS regional editor for the BOW region to Ueli von Niederhäusern. He has been a tremendous support to MFS, especially with his beautiful photos.

Ueli von Niederhäusern is no stranger to our magazine. I’d like to wish him a good start and much enjoyment. As we all know, there’s plenty to report on in the BOW region. Thank you very much. Best regards

I can say that I’m just as enthusiastic and passionate about flying now as I was back when I was a little boy. So, summer or winter, I’d sling the radio over my shoulder and look up at the sky.
