New Regional Editor for Central Switzerland

On January 13, 2012, the Central Region’s Presidential Conference unanimously elected Urs Keller to succeed Alois Bühlmann as secretary and editor of the Central Switzerland Region.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank Urs. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Alois Bühlmann, who has stepped down, for his exceptionally long and dedicated service to our magazine.

Emil Giezendanner

I have been working as a technical writer for over 25 years. My professional background is in electrical engineering and electronics. My favorite hobby—designing, building, and flying model airplanes—has been a part of my life for over 35 years. My favorite disciplines are thermal flying and slope flying. For thermal flying, I use electric motors, and for slope flying, I prefer to go to the mountains—which is supposedly the supreme discipline of model gliding. I enjoy being outdoors and am also very fond of photography—which is an ideal combination for my work as an editor.
