Model Airplane Flying—Our Shared Passion

For half a century, model aviators have been writing about model aviation for fellow model aviators. I took this anniversary as an opportunity to dig out older and vintage issues from the archives and immerse myself in them. In doing so, I once again became acutely aware of just how rapid the technological evolution of model aviation has been. This applies to materials, electronics, techniques, and digitization. Nothing is comparable to what it was 50 years ago. However, one thing has remained the same: your passion, dear readers, for our shared hobby. That’s exactly what we want to celebrate! We therefore invite you to a festive evening on October 26, 2022, where we’ll raise a toast together to another 50 years of “modell flugsport”!
