Who designs our trade magazine “Modellflugsport,” and who is responsible for its visual identity?

Yvonne Bollinger from Galledia Publishing is the heart and soul of the magazine—she gives “Modellflugsport” its distinctive look. With her many years of experience and keen eye, Yvonne edits all of our articles right up to the “ready for print” stage. This layout is then discussed in person with the “Modellflugsport” editorial team and adjusted as needed. Yvonne Bollinger is 55 years old and lives in Frauenfeld.

She has been working in prepress at Galledia Print AG since 2007.

She has had the opportunity to design the layout for countless trade journals on a wide variety of topics—whether it’s a trade journal on the electrical industry, occupational safety and health, commercial vehicles, environmental issues, publications for the Evangelical Church, or, of course, model airplanes.

Yvonne has been designing our “Modellflugsport” magazine since 2005. “I particularly enjoy this work because, even after 19 years, it’s still challenging and exciting for me to create an appealing layout every other month using the many images and texts—one that’s easy for the reader to navigate and encourages them to read the interesting and informative articles.”

My hobbies include traveling, especially to the cooler, Nordic countries.

To balance out my sedentary office work, I spend time outdoors in nature whenever possible—whether it’s hiking in the mountains, walking along the coast, or simply getting some exercise (running) in the fresh air.

I don’t usually get compliments—except that Emil and Markus have often praised me and thanked me. They appreciate my work, and that makes me very happy!

I hope and wish for many more years in which I can apply my creative eye to “model aviation.”
