Model Building CH 80
1st Swiss Model Building Exhibition for Airplanes, Ships, Cars, and Rockets in Winterthur
For the first time in Switzerland, a model-building exhibition will be held at the Eulachhalle in Winterthur over the weekend of April 26–27, 1980.
Model builders from all over Switzerland will exhibit several hundred models, ranging from large aircraft over 4 meters in length, lifelike aircraft, and functional models (gliders and motorized); helicopters; sailboats and motorboats; cars, race cars, and functional models; to rockets.
All exhibiting model builders will receive an award. The “Modellbau” exhibition is intended to fill a genuine gap in the market and offer both model builders and an interested public the opportunity to gain comprehensive, in-depth, and expert insight into this attractive hobby and all its possibilities.
There are plans to repeat this model-building exhibition at regular intervals, always at the end of April.
“Modellbau CH 80” is organized by the Fehraltorf Model Aircraft Club of Region 5 of the AeCS in cooperation with the trade show organizer m+s Maurer + Salzmann AG, Winterthur.
The exhibition is, of course, also open to all manufacturers in the model-making industry and the associated specialty retailers.
