All areas of functional model building are represented here, ranging from airplanes and helicopters to ships, cars, and motorcycles. Giez. / The idea of founding and establishing a model aircraft museum has been presented several times at MFS. The goal is not only to collect objects worthy of exhibition, but also to compile as comprehensive a record as possible of the history of model aircraft in Switzerland. This documentation is intended to include design documents (blueprints, descriptions, calculations, and images), records and reports of important events, as well as a photo and film archive.

To move this work forward as quickly as possible, an association will be founded to serve as the organizing body. In addition, a survey of interesting items (models, engines, RC systems, construction plans, etc.) and their locations will be conducted as soon as possible. The search for suitable premises must also be intensified. The editorial staff is always grateful for tips and suggestions.
