Honoring Emil Giezendanner for his many years of service as an organizer of aerobatics competitions.

Not only was it the 50th Coupe des Alpes; it was also the 50th time the same organizer had hosted the event. Emil Giezendanner launched the international F3A friendly flying competition over 50 years ago and has organized and served as competition director ever since. For this, he was honored with a certificate by Peter Uhlig, chairman of the CIAM Commission. SMV Sports Director Faruk Yeginsoi expressed his heartfelt thanks and presented him with a pewter plate. Andi Schwerzmann, Head of the Youth and Sports Division, expressed gratitude to Emil on behalf of NOS.
