Judging Course in Oberkulm

It’s truly amazing how the sailacro scene has developed in recent years. The number of participants in competitions and training sessions has steadily increased. Many new pilots have discovered this exciting and appealing discipline and are now actively involved. The activities and training sessions organized by Swissakro Connection have significantly raised the level of performance over the years. Judging is becoming increasingly challenging for the judges.

That’s why René and Andy organized and conducted various online training sessions during the winter months.

On April 12, 2025, the final theoretical training session took place in Gontenschwil. The focus was on evaluating freestyle flights, a particular challenge for the judges.

In the afternoon, the practical portion followed at the MFV Kulm airfield. Acrobatic pilots demonstrated various freestyle flights, which were discussed and evaluated by the judges according to specified criteria. The goal was to achieve as much consistency as possible
