GARIV – Eat and Fly Lodrino

Have you ever wondered if there's a place where we can meet?

It’s no coincidence—just friends from all over Ticino, with no strings attached.

Just to have fun, see each other, chat, and fly. If the food’s good too, then everything’s perfect.

There was a place like that—it was in Lodrino, more specifically organized by the GARIV Group (formerly GAMB) last year on September 18 as a gathering for members of all the model-building clubs in Ticino.

The demand was so high that even the number of participants had to be limited.

As you can see from the photos, the variety of model aircraft—from gliders to jets—was striking and a real feast for the eyes.

And the atmosphere: well, imagine a party—all the participants, after a good lunch, cheerful and full of energy so they could still fly, simply enjoying the day in beautiful late-summer weather—a success.

Perhaps the old GAMB needed a new name. The start was a success. In any case, it looks promising.

The question remains: will the “Eat and Fly” event happen again?

We certainly hope so.

Thank you, GARIV.
