Arosa
From July 12–15, 1973, the European Championship in the F1E category and, for the first time, a European Cup for SK models will take place in the resort town of Arosa. Anyone who has attended the Adler Cup in the past three years is already familiar with this beautiful venue; for everyone else, the exact details can be found on this map excerpt and in the photo.
The technique of flying presents no particular difficulties. A model flying at a speed of 3–4 m/sec can stay airborne for 5 minutes in level flight. When gliding, it is essential to fly in circles. I recommend practicing at the designated launch site. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, as snow is likely on the opposite slope!

With the approval of the Federal Office of Topography
The flight times are set at 2½ hours. It is certainly possible to fly in both categories. For further details, please refer to the remaining information in the invitations sent to all club presidents. The Aero-Club and the Arosa Tourist Association hope for a large turnout. Arosa is well worth a visit!
