2024 Scoring Judges Course at MFV Kulm

Blue skies, summery temperatures, and no wind—ideal flying conditions at this year’s judges’ course in Oberkulm. It almost seemed as if the weather gods were trying to make up for last year’s miserable conditions.

Fortunately, the two organizers, René Koblet and Andy Minnig, were able to welcome eleven (!) motivated course participants, including one female participant. Their training had already begun in January and February via videoconference. On Saturday, April 13, the participants put what they had learned into practice at the MFV Kulm airfield. This was the first time the new input devices were used. The Puris evaluated the various pre-flight maneuvers performed by the glider acrobatic pilots in attendance and then provided their feedback to the respective pilots.

The Swissakro Connection would like to take this opportunity to extend its heartfelt thanks to the Kulm Model Flying Club for hosting us.

On behalf of the Swissakro Connection,
Hans Gratwohl
