Model airfield sites suitable for hosting competitions are not all that common in our country. Without interest and a general understanding of model aviation within clubs and regions, more sites will be lost or become unavailable. Even profit-seekers and penny-pinchers are rarely interested in competitions and even less so in volunteering. The MG Reichenburg SZ has consistently hosted F3A competitions, serving as an outstanding positive example. Such activities must be given special consideration when it comes to financial support from our associations.
