Model Airplane Flying in Zambia

I took this “model airplane” photo near Luambe National Park (northeast of Zambia) from a moving Land Rover. This man

a street vendor who, ten seconds after I took the photo, loudly and with lots of gestures, tried to sell us his wares.

What’s unique is that he (or his supplier) doesn’t make the toys out of wire, like almost all of his competitors do, but carves them out of wood. Considering

their origin, the attention to detail on both airplanes is astonishing.
